Air Comfort Group has announced that Sembcorp Marine of Singapore has awarded a contract to Air Comfort Group for the HVAC equipment design and fabrication for the Shell Vito deepwater living quarters, warehouse, and lab. We’ll provide commissioning and start-up – which will take place in Singapore.
“Our team is excited to provide another quality HVAC project to Shell Oil and to gain a new customer is Sembcorp Marine,” said President Bret Babineaux. “Our design capabilities, meeting very specific requirements with our equipment customization, and our ability to build Blast Rated AHU’s places our team and our company in an elite class of HVAC companies. The Vito project is right off the heels of Olympus and Appomattox, two very successful world class projects that our team is proud to help deliver.”
Vito is located beneath more than 4,000 feet of water, approximately 150-miles southeast of New Orleans. Vito is expected to reach peak production of approximately 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Shell.
